This Event takes Place from Friday 25th May – Sunday 27th May. This is a three day Tourism Promotional Event which showcases all that County Donegal has to offer to visitors from home and away.

There will be Live Concerts on the Diamond from 7.30 pm – 11.00 pm nightly with the following artists Alexandra Burke, Goat’s Don’t Shave and the Saw Doctors.

The Pier area will become a tented village with exhibitors from all over County Donegal. There will also be a Food Hall with coffee shops and restaurants.

This unique 4-day tribute Festival takes place in the Town where Ireland’s greatest Rock n’ Blues Guitarist – Rory Gallagher was born 62 years ago in Ballyshannon, Co.Donegal in the North West of Ireland.

Thousands of Rory Gallagher fans from all over the World make the now Annual Pilgrimage to honour Rory in his birthplace of Ballyshannon.It will be the biggest Classic Rock Music Festival in Ireland this year with headline acts including Horslips, Mick Taylor from Rolling Stones, Brian ‘Robbo’ Robertson (ex. Thin Lizzy and Motorhead), Dr. Feelgood, Johnny Gallagher and Boxtie, Pat McManus Band (ex. Mama’s Boys), Sinnerboy, Moonchild and a host of International Rock, Blues and Rory Tribute acts.

The Festival is renowned for its Free-to-View Outdoor Concerts that take place on the Streets of Ballyshannon. A visit to the Rory Gallagher International Tribute Festival is a must and while in Ballyshannon, you can visit the life size bronze statue of Rory Gallagher and the Rock Hospital where the legendary Guitarist was born.

Sea Sessions 2012 will again cater for the action sports fan with the return of the Skate and BMX displays. The crowd will not be left disappointed as the cream of extreme sports performers will wow and thrill spectators with the Adrenaline State High Octane BMX and Stunt Bike Display.‘Adrenaline State’ brings the Ultra Dynamic Adrenaline Mash-Up to Sea Sessions this year. The multi-discipline biking spectacle will feature some of Europe’s best BMX, stunt and trials biking riders. Their playground will be an elaborate purpose-built course that includes anything from mashed-up cars and industrial electric spools, to ramp and kicker madness. Let the fun begin!

Dates have been confirmed for the 2012 Northwest Garden Show, to be held on the grounds of Castlefinn Partnership Complex, on May 26th and 27th.

Now in it’s third year, the show has had remarkable success since its inception in 2010 and has generated over €3.5million to the local economy in just over two years.

This year organisers are predicting a 30% increase in footfall on last year’s very impressive 13,000 visitor numbers. This year also sees a new project expected to have international appeal added to the weekend’s schedule.

However, it will have a legacy far beyond the weekend in May, say organisers. The garden, to be designed by Chelsea Garden Show Gold Medalist Diarmuid Gavin, will be built on an acre site incorporating a traditional stone walled garden, a covered informal meeting space internal walkways, permanent garden furniture and structures associated with the specific garden design.
